RAIN WATER HARVESTING AND ITS CONTRIBUTION ON HOUSEHOLD

RAIN WATER HARVESTING AND ITS CONTRIBUTION ON HOUSEHOLD

Rain water harvesting is basically a mode of preserving the water which comes from rain and instead of letting it wasted it is saved in dams and other places like large water containers so it will use in the time of non-rainy seasons for livestock irrigation as well as for drinking water.
Basically rain water harvesting was introduce in around 3rd BC in places namely Baluchistan presently in Pakistan, Iran & Afghanistan and in  Kutch presently in INDIA and in ancient Tamil Nadu rain water harvesting was done by Chola kings

ADVANTAGES

  • It is the most cheapest way of harvesting
  • It needs no filtration for landscape irrigation
  • It can reduce water bills
  • It reduces the probability of flood in low level regions

Quality

  • There is no doubt that we should analyze the water before using it for some special purposes or using it as for drinking water. But there is no doubt that the quality of rain water collected is highly better then surface water

System setup

  • Rain water system is get setup in highly minimal cost and it is highly cheaper than other mode of harvesting with lots of advantages. but it is should remember in mind before setting up the setup that the tank in which water has to be stored should be large enough to store the quantity with having  capability to maintain adequate flow of water

Present day

China brazil are on the top list countries who are using this system very efficiently  and getting day by day advance in making such tanks and canals to store more & more water because they know it really well that they can’t get cheaper irrigation water than that there are many other countries are also in queue namely
  • India
  • United-kingdom
  • Sri Lanka
  • Israel

Contribution on Income

Rain water harvesting is one of the oldest mode of preserving fresh water and cheaper too.  A country with having this rain water irrigation system in a good manner no doubt can save lots of its money reserves and can expand of other  things like education health development sectors etc. and it is proven that it is the best way because if it was not than why countries with such great GDP are using this method of preserving fresh water namely China brazil India srilanka Israel & united kingdom so other countries and specially developing countries should focus to build or advance this rain water harvesting system so they can lift up their nation and can secure handy money

Which of the following technologies should you use to define the formatting and layout of the page content? a) Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) b) Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) c) JavaScript d) Hypertext Transmission Protocol (HTTP) Answer: a Difficulty: Medium Section Reference: Understanding Web Page Development Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) help you define the formatting and layout of a page’s content and store that separately from the content. HTML is a text-based language that uses various markup tags that describe how content is displayed. JavaScript is scripting language that you use to add functionality and behavior to a Web page. HTTP is the underlying communication protocol used by the World Wide Web. 2. You want to display an image on your Web page. The image is stored on a...

Lesson 1: Introduction to Programming 1. You need to gain a better understanding of the solution before writing the program. You decide to develop an algorithm that lists all necessary steps to perform an operation in the correct order. Any technique that you use should minimize complexity and ambiguity. Which of the following techniques should you use? a) flowchart b) decision table c) C# program d) A paragraph in English Answer: a Difficulty: Medium Section Reference: Introducing Algorithms A flowchart is a graphical representation of an algorithm that lists, in the correct order, all the necessary steps to perform the operation. A flowchart is simple to create and understand and is not ambiguous. 2. Lesson 2: Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming 1. You are developing code for a method that calculates the discount for the items sold. You name the method CalculateDiscount . The method defines a variable, percentValue of the type double . You need to make sure that percentValue is accessible only within the CalculateDiscount method. What access modifier should you use when defining the percentValue variable? a) private b) protected c) internal d) public Answer: a Difficulty: Medium Section Reference: Understanding Access Modifiers The private modifier restricts the access to the class in which the member was defined. The protected modifier restricts the access to the containing class and to any class derived directly or indirectly from the containing class. The internal modifier restricts the access to the code in the same assembly. The public modifier does not restrict access. 2. You are developing code that defines an InitFields method. Th...
